I don't get it. Are you saying that you confused her because you act gay but aren't, or that you don't act gay but you are?
Meh. As far as I'm concerned, even the mere concept of a gaydar is seriously flawed. What you can gather from a person at face value is so insubstantial, and to make assumptions or draw conclusions of a person based off of society's stereotypes is foolish and ignorant. Last time I checked, the definition of being gay was "guy liking other guys", and not "guy liking jewelry or cute things." Geez.
[2336] <@m1s3ri> I think her exact words were something like [2336] <@m1s3ri> "ok i have to ask ... are you gay or just very feminine? cause you don't set off my gaydar but ... like ... yeah ..."
honestly it's nice just being asked plainly than having people try to indirectly hint at it repeatedly, but ... meh. like I said, pretty ambivalent about the whole thing.
the whole fact that I really just don't care at all is weirder to me than what actually happened. maybe it shouldn't be I guess, it's not like I care a whole lot what other people think to begin with.
Even if you don't care, that's just an obnoxious way she chose to ask. That just shows how people make judgement based on fixed standarts. I'm more curious to know what answer she expected to hear back.
? Every guy can be a gay best friend to a girl. kinda realized that by now. what are you doing that makes you so...yeah. can't be that bad
